Our Fam trips are one of the unique selling points of StudyWorld, giving educators the chance to showcase what they do and agents the chance to see for themselves. So we try to create a variety of trips, taking in both well-known destinations and those which are less familiar.
This year, for instance, we’ve got a fantastic overnight trip to Liverpool, one of the UK’s liveliest cities. You’ll get a chance to look around English UK member the Liverpool School of English and hear more about its adults courses and summer school options for teenagers. You’ll also have a quick tour of the city’s highlights, including The Beatles Story and the Cavern nightclub where the band first played.
But there’s more to Liverpool than The Beatles. There’s the city’s history as a major port, with the beautiful old dock and seafront area with its amazing modern buildings and ferries painted like pop art.
There are two Cathedrals, both built in the last century, but very different, and two Premiership football clubs. There are also some of the UK’s most ornately decorated pubs.
There is one last thing the city is famous for in the UK, and that’s it’s people. Liverpudlians are known for being very friendly and chatty, and for having a very distinctive accent.
