Fam trips and Inward Missions – the value of first-hand knowledge

StudyWorld can do a lot of things for educators and agents – it can start relationships, help people understand what they have to offer each other, and help to build and refresh existing partnerships.

But what we can’t do in those appointment slots is show off all the fantastic schools, colleges, universities and courses our educators have to offer.

So at English UK and StudyWorld we like to make the next step easy as well, by offering a selection of Fam Trips after StudyWorld and also at least two general plus at least one specialised Inward Mission during the year.

It’s time for educators to start thinking about the Fam trips they might be able to offer to agents attending StudyWorld 2016 – we’re the only major workshop to offer this add-on, and as always we’re looking for high-quality, informative programmes.

English UK’s Inward Missions are hugely popular with agents and our members alike, because of the in-depth knowledge they make possible. When agents are sending young people thousands of miles to continue their education, it helps if they’ve seen the classrooms and the café of the language centre they’re recommending, and have met the staff and current students. Our Fam trip, happening now, is taking a group of agents around the North West of England, seeing what different educators have to offer and seeing the sights.

Our last trip took a group of Chinese agents around the West of England and Wales, ending at StudyWorld where they spent the next few days in appointment sessions. All were delighted with the in-depth knowledge they had acquired. Shan Ding, of the New Oriental agency, said: “The Fam trip was very impressive… it was a good balance of travel and making sure we got good information from each school. The schools were very carefully chosen with good quality programmes and I was really impressed by many of them.”

*Could you get together with other educators to offer a great Fam Trip to build on StudyWorld?

We’re looking for both specialist and regional or national trips. If you’d like to talk to StudyWorld staff about requirements, please contact
