Seminar programme at StudyWorld
A useful session this year could be Making the Most of Advertising – Advertising Management for Schools and Agencies, in which Chris Price of MJD Consultancy will give helpful ideas, tips and hints at how to make advertising (promotions) more successful.
Results from the International Student Barometer, the world’s largest study of international students in the world, will be used to provide insights into how students make their decisions on courses and programmes, and how the pre-arrival experience determines the decisions they make.
"The feedback collected from students helps institutions in improving the experience for their students and helps the sector as a whole in 'raising the bar' for international students," says William Archer, director of i-graduate.
An interactive seminar, led by Richard Day of English-in-Chester, will provide an opportunity for agents and educators to meet each other and exchange ideas on a number of topics related to agent/educator communication. The seminar will also feature some observations taken from an English UK worldwide survey of agents undertaken at the end of 2009.
For agents interested in working more closely with English UK, there will be a seminar on the new Partner Agency Scheme. This new initiative will be officially launched at StudyWorld, and an extended seminar for agents interested in joining the scheme will take place.
Other sessions will be presented by Barbara Woodward of the UK Border Agency who will provide an update on visa policy and Tier 4, and Internet Advantage who will discuss social media marketing.
Remember – these seminars are only open to registered delegates at StudyWorld London 2010, and they only run between 2pm and 6pm on the first afternoon, Monday 6 September.
To make sure of your place in a particular seminar, you can register an interest using the Marcom eSchedule PRO online appointments system, which also contains more details about the topics - or simply arrive in good time.
