English UK attends IALC Galway

From Thursday 29 April – Sunday 2 May, the 27th IALC workshop took place in the beautiful coastal city of Galway, Ireland.

Annie Wright and Siobhán Baccas were there to represent English UK, and met lots of educators and agents from around the world. Annie and Siobhán were able to discuss with participants English UK’s marketing and promotional activities, which include inward missions, overseas fairs, StudyWorld London and the new Partner Agency Scheme, which will be officially launched in September.

The Irish welcome was very warm and all delegates were thoroughly entertained by the evening events organised by Galway Cultural Institute. Annie and Siobhán took part in an Irish dancing class and a fantastic show was put on by Trad on the Prom at the Gala Dinner.

Annie and Siobhán enjoyed their time at the IALC workshop and hope to meet all the delegates again at StudyWorld London in September.
