Past, present and future – StudyWorld seminar programme

We are pleased to announce who we have lined up at the StudyWorld seminar programme on 5 September.

As part of the Shakespeare Lives celebrations this year, we are delighted to see how literature of the past has influenced our future. Find out more from our plenary speaker on Monday afternoon.

The fascinating market of Iran will be discussed by David Mitchell and Bita Rezaei. Providers looking to engage with Iran can learn from its history and politics to help form their future marketing strategies and prepare them for what Iran has to offer.

Organisations can learn to take advantage of their own people to improve their digital marketing. Richard Bradford will be offering guidance on how to get the best digital content from your staff to help get the right messages out to your partners and to increase sales.

With some many language tests available, what is the real value of language testing? Alex Thorp will explore changes in our understanding of language testing and considers the untapped potential for both teachers and learners of applying a modern approach to assessment.

Looking forwards it’s important that we keep abreast of the trends and influence of the decision-makers of the future. Those of Generation Y and Z need engaging with, not only now, but in the years to come. Jacqueline Kassteen, hosting one of the plenary sessions, will provide a tour of the latest advances in technology, marketing, and customer service, which are responding to the demands of an instant gratification generation. Find out what you can do to appeal to this important group of citizens.

Aileen Kane from the Boarding Schools Assocation will highlight the variety of schools and programmes on offers in the UK and what a student can expect from their experience.

The programme will also include an update from UK Visas and Immigration.
