Meet a specialist in StudyWorld’s educator villages

StudyWorld is all about making it easy to meet the contacts and build the relationships your business needs. That’s why specialist zones, lounges and educator villages play a key role the event.

In addition to the Gulf lounge and DIT area, we are delighted to announce educator villages for boarding schools, The English Network, quality English centres and a wider group belonging to ALTO, the Association of Language Travel Organisations.

You can make appointments to meet the individual schools and colleges in each of these villages, or have a conversation with a representative from the organisation as a whole.

“We’re getting a lot of interest in our specialist groupings. The villages are a great way to raise the profile of educator associations, and are really helpful for our agents and buyers,” said Jodie Gray, English UK’s Head of Market Development. “We think the ALTO lounge is going to be a very popular addition to StudyWorld.”

Reka Lenart, Association Manager of ALTO, added: “We are so excited to have a lounge at the upcoming StudyWorld workshop. It’s a great venue for us to promote ALTO to the high-profile industry leaders who will attend the event and we can also offer tables at the spacious lounge for ALTO members to bring their hot desk appointments to.”

 Educator villages at StudyWorld 2017

  • BAISIS, the British Association of Independent Schools With International Students, promotes best practice in academic and pastoral care. At least eight member schools and colleges will be in the BAISIS village, and Caroline Nixon will represent the organisation.
  • TEN, The English Network, is a grouping of independent English language centres: every member will be available for meetings in the TEN village and Karen Dickinson will represent the organisation.
  • QE, Quality English, is an organisation for independent ELT schools and colleges from all over the UK and nine members will be available for meeting in the QE village. Jonathan Swindell and Frances Pottschulte will represent the organisation.
  • ALTO is expecting many members at StudyWorld and has created a lounge exclusively for their use, for relaxation and also for holding meetings. It is encouraging members to pre-book tables using the link from the association’s newsletter. Reka Lenart will represent ALTO.

Don’t forget we also have at least 12 UK universities attending, all of which have won the new official award for the quality of their teaching.
