Understand international education markets at StudyWorld: for business and professional development

StudyWorld is a great opportunity to not only to build connections between UK education exporters and overseas buyers, but also to understand international education markets with StudyWorld’s specialist seminars.

On Monday, join English UK and the British Council for the launch of a new market report on the demand for UK summer school programmes in China. The report reveals staggering growth over recent years and offers invaluable market intelligence to providers of summer programmes who want to expand their business in China.

Then, data expert Samuel Vetrak of StudentMarketing will review the UK in a global context. He will examine the trends and patterns in all international education sectors, future market outlooks, plus the business opportunities for UK stakeholders in challenging times.

After the keynote address on Tuesday, in which respected journalist and broadcaster Gavin Esler will explore the benefits of international education, especially international uncertainty and instability, top immigration lawyer Nichola Carter will walk through UK immigration law, Brexit and international students.

The founder of and principal solicitor at Carter Thomas, a specialist immigration law firm, Nichola will cover cover the key areas of immigration law, with particular reference to Tier 4, Short-term study and visitor routes, and how you to help shape the new post-Brexit UK immigration law system.

Tatiana and Valeria Samorskaya of Business Link in Ukraine will then explain what it is like to work in an unstable and ever changing country. The agency has been operating for the past 20 years and had the sole focus on UK education. Together they will cover trends in the Ukrainian market and factors for future growth and development.

Throughout the day, the Department for International Trade (DIT) will host informal sessions on their three regional focuses for education export: China and Hong Kong, ASEAN, and Latin America. Join commercial staff from British embassies and missions around the world to find out more about education opportunities and business environments, with plenty of time for questions.

StudyWorld is a great opportunity for business and professional development: achieve a better work/life balance and create a culture of ‘relaxed efficiency’ with Thom Jones, principal of Oxford College International summer programme for SBC; find out more about international education contracts with the DIT and Disquiet Dogimprove the student experience; and explore a new approach to word of mouth marketing with Jacqueline Kassteen.
