First StudyWorld fringe event event announced

We encourage UK educators to run their own fringe events around StudyWorld, to show agents and buyers what they have to offer.

The first of these has just been announced, by English UK London. They are hosting a reception in the House of Commons, overlooking the River Thames, after appointments have finished on Tuesday 4 September.

Delegates will walk through part of the Houses of Parliament and are likely to see famous areas including the Lobby and the oldest part, Westminster Hall.

James Herbertson, from sponsoring organisation London Nest, said they were excited to welcome guests from around the world to the House of Commons. “The Houses of Parliament is one of the most iconic buildings in the world and the English UK London Evening Reception is a celebration of London as a world class city for what goes on inside the classrooms of our quality English schools and outside in our museums, theatres, parks, music venues, pubs and restaurants.”

The reception is being hosted by MP Ed Vaizey and runs from 19:00 to 20:30 on Tuesday 4 September. Places are strictly limited, with agents and tour operators being contacted direct.
