Sponsors help everyone to get a better deal at StudyWorld, as well as publicising what they do to the best of the UK’s education providers and global buyers.
This year, British Study Centres are our high-profile Gold sponsors after decades of attending our event. We interviewed Director of Development Martin McDonald to find out why they love StudyWorld.
What do you like about StudyWorld?
“We were delighted with the new location and format last year, as well as the UK focus of the event and the high-level endorsement from the Education is GREAT programme. We are sure that the more flexible format, with everything taking place on one floor, will attract increasing numbers of high quality agents. We have a long association with StudyWorld, going all the way back to the days of ARELS, when BSC used to host a popular evening event for delegates at our Brighton centre.”
Why did you want to sponsor StudyWorld?
“It is an exciting period in the development of the BSC Group. We feel that sponsoring StudyWorld will provide us with increased visibility for our expanding portfolio of year-round schools, junior summer centres, teacher training projects, our NCUK International Foundation Year programme and our highly successful City Football Language School partnership with Manchester City FC.
“We are sure that sponsorship will provide us with an unrivalled platform on which to build excellent new agent relations and strategic partnerships with other progressive institutions that share our values and commitment to delivering high quality language training.”
What markets are interesting to you at the moment?
“Although we enjoy many long-standing agent partnerships in Western Europe, we are seeing strong growth across the MENA region and exciting potential in Asia and Latin America, so look forward to meeting existing and potential partners from all of these regions.”
Where are you based?
“Our year-round centres are located in London Central, London Hampstead, Brighton, Oxford, Manchester, York and Edinburgh, with our new Dublin school scheduled to open in early 2019.”
Have you got any exciting new projects or courses?
“Yes – we are about to welcome our second cohort of International Foundation Year students to BSC Hampstead and are keen to talk to partners who are interested in collaborating with us and our colleagues at NCUK to raise the profile of our IFY programme in their countries.
“We will also have a renewed focus on our junior summer programmes with the introduction of a new premium junior offer in 2019, and at the other end of the age scale, we will be relaunching our suite of 50+ courses in York and Edinburgh, the latter coinciding with our popular Edinburgh Festival programme.”
