About StudyWorld

Q: What is StudyWorld?

StudyWorld is the world's leading international student recruitment event for study-abroad professionals. It brings together quality accredited education providers with professional study-abroad agents and educational consultants. During StudyWorld events, agents meet educators face-to-face in pre-arranged business meetings. In 2009, StudyWorld London brought together over 800 agents and educators from 60 countries worldwide.

Q: When and where is StudyWorld London 2010?

StudyWorld London 2010 takes place from Monday 6 to Wednesday 8 September 2010 at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel. The venue is located in central London and has excellent transport links.

Q: Who attends?

StudyWorld London 2010 will bring together educators (sellers), agents and educational consultants (buyers), and organisations that provide services like accommodation, examinations, insurance and tourism. Read more on Who attends.

Q: Who are agents?

Agents are also known as educational consultants, study-abroad advisors and student recruiters. They provide information and advice to students to help them choose an education provider and course that is right for them. They can advise on the different institutions and courses, the choice of countries and regions, and the costs. They can then arrange a place on a course, suitable accommodation and travel. Agents represent education providers and recruit students on their behalf.

Q: What sort of educators attend StudyWorld?

StudyWorld London is only open to recognised accredited educators. It attracts educators from all over the world, including universities, colleges, language schools, internship providers, independent schools and work experience providers.
