How much time do I spend meeting people at StudyWorld?

We organise two full days of meetings, which gives you 47 appointments of 20 minutes each. But that’s not all: meals, refreshments and networking receptions are included in your package, so with us you can network safe in the knowledge that everyone you meet is an active professional in our industry.

How are my meetings organised?

You will organise all your own meetings using Marcom eSchedule PRO, an online appointment scheduling tool that gives you full control and lots of extras, such as reminders that you have met people previously and links to their social network profiles. You can also schedule last-minute meetings once you are at StudyWorld using Marcom Onsite (but you must remember to opt-in).

What is included in the StudyWorld package?

Everybody gets access to our seminars, lunches, the welcome reception and an informal post-appointments reception. Overseas agents/partners and some UK education provider packages come with access to our meetings software, Marcom eSchedule PRO. Other representatives have the choice of attendance with or without a meetings schedule.

UK educator providers and suppliers can choose between a table or exhibition stand, or an event pass with or without a meetings schedule if they do not want a fixed location. Service providers can take a stand or book event passes. Overseas agents and partners are accommodated in the Doubletree by Hilton London – Westminster as part of the package.

Who am I likely to meet?

Delegates vary from year to year, but we only register people who can prove that they are a high-quality professional actively working in our industry. This might include membership of an approved professional association. Our customers are a mix of UK-based educator providers and suppliers, study abroad agents, overseas institutions and corporations seeking partnerships, and other services vital to our industry, including exam boards, student accommodation, insurance and finance companies.

What type of education providers attend StudyWorld?

We attract a variety of UK-based institutions including universities, colleges, English language schools, independent schools, internship providers and corporate training providers. StudyWorld London is only open to accredited and government-approved educators.

What type of agents and partners attend?

We attract a variety of study abroad agents, tour operators, institutions and other partners from more than 50 countries, and the common factor is that they have all demonstrated that they are active, high-quality professionals.

The service offered by traditional agents varies, but in general they provide information and advice to students and their families to help them choose an education provider and course that is right for them, and then make the arrangements, keeping in touch with everyone while the student is away.

Corporations, government officials and overseas institutions looking for partnerships to assist with teacher training, in-country education, trans-national education delivery also attend.

Why do agents and partners have to pay to attend StudyWorld?

We find that asking them to pay a very low charge ensures only those who are really serious about their business make the decision to attend.

How can we get the best deal at StudyWorld?

Book early and take advantage of our Early Bird deals. Educators and service providers who are English UK members also get a discount.

Who organises StudyWorld?
